Bringing back the blog with Filmation Hordak!

Hi everybody,
I want to take a shot at bringing back this blog.
I'm awful at keeping this stuff up to date, but maybe I'll be able to share something here and there.
Hopefully I'll be also allowed to share some of the work I do for Hasbro (I already have a few images ready and approved) but of course the main focus will remain He-Man and She-Ra!
But also expect some random thoughts here and there, as I recently found myself with a lot to say, and not just art.
(always in my broken English - for those who don't know, I'm Italian and I live in Italy)

And to kick-start this, what was better than one of my ideas for possible MOTUC figures?
So, here is the variant figure (almost) everybody want!
Hordak in Filmation colors!
And since Mattel already tooled swappable arms (the shoulders discs and the torso) for Trap-Jaw/Kronis, why not selling him with two sets of arms, to simulate the different robotic arms he had in the cartoon?
BTW, Hordak had two different mechanical arms styles. I think asking Mattel to staty true to that would be too much, but I think most fans would settle down with something that works good enough for both.
Still there can be different iptions: they can go for almost a simple repaint, or just add a few new parts:
I'm presenting two of these options here, which one would you like most?

That is one awesome design!!! I would hope that they would go with "B". I don't know if I would be too happy with the same head being used, but I could understand why if it was. Thanks for yet another amazing design :D.

I think the figure, should be a mix of the two. Two heads, two removable
arms and hands. With the figure they it could com Hordaks Rocket form!
That would be awsome.

Hope to see more posts in the blogue

Best Wishes

I actually used your design to make my custom, the #1 design with a custom re-sculpted Filmation styled head....I had a MAA buck so he didn't get 2 small bracelets, but I like the how the bigger one looked after I was done anyway....

As Always great work, and thanks for the inspiration for my custom.

I say if they're not gonna make a new head and armor then they shouldn't even bother making him. I have one little nitpick though on version B Emiliano and that's the reuse of the collar. If they're gonna make a new torso armor, the armor and collar should be one piece, and you should be able to see his blue neck like in Filmation. That way he would get a more Filmation style collar with the bigger bones. I love you're idea for the cannon arm with the robot hand attachment though, and I could live with it if he only had one detachable arm. They should totally do him with Imp as a $30-$35 exclusive depending on how many accessories he comes with.
